Sentinel-2 and Landsat, on demand.
Search a place and get every clear day as a timeline. View it in true colour, false colour or ten spectral indices with clouds masked, compare two dates side by side, chart your fields over months and years, get an email when a new clear image arrives, and download exactly the area you need. Rendered on the fly from the public archives, with nothing to preprocess.
One scene, many looks
The same pixels, seven ways and more. On the map each look is one click, and hovering an index shows its value at that spot.

What you can do
On the map, and through the API with one key. The demo runs without one.
Every clear day
Search a view and get its days as a timeline, newest first, each one a single pass, or all of them as one mosaic.
Ten indices, live values
Vegetation (NDVI, EVI, NDRE, ReCI), moisture and burns (NDMI, NBR) and water (NDWI, MNDWI, NDCI for chlorophyll, NDTI for turbidity), one click each. Hover for the value.
Clouds masked
Each scene's own cloud layer hides clouds and their shadows, so an index shows the ground, not the weather.
Compare two dates
Put two days side by side and drag the divider: crops, floods, fires and building sites show their change.
Fields over time
Draw or upload your fields, lakes or estates and chart any index over them, clouds removed, water or land only, against the year before. Download the numbers, or share a read-only link.
Downloads and API
Every band or a single index as GeoTIFF, the view as PNG, and the same through a REST API with STAC search and map tiles.
Watch an area
Get an email with a picture when a new clear image of an area or field arrives, when an index changes sharply, and a summary every Monday.
Free to start
Get a key in a minute: 20,000 requests a month, 20 downloads a day, 50 fields and 3 watched areas, free. Or try the demo with no key at all.
Status in the open
Every part of the service is checked every 5 minutes, with 90 days of history at status.satellitedata.net.
Collections
Read from the public Sentinel-2 and Landsat archives on AWS. Each collection has its own page in the docs with bands, values and limits.
| Collection | What it is |
|---|---|
| Sentinel-2 L2A | Surface reflectance, atmospherically corrected |
| Sentinel-2 L1C | Top-of-atmosphere reflectance; tiles from zoom 12 |
| Landsat 8–9 Level-2 | Surface reflectance and surface temperature |
| Landsat 8–9 Level-1 | Top-of-atmosphere reflectance, with the 15 m panchromatic band |
Getting access
The service runs on API keys. A free key gives 20,000 requests a month, 20 downloads a day, 50 fields and 3 watched areas: ask for one, confirm your email, and it arrives in a minute. Or try the demo, which needs no key, and read the docs.
